Uscenes Screensavers for Windows 10 and 11
Uscenes previously offered downloadable video screensavers for Windows 10 and Windows 11, including fireplace, aquarium, nature and other ambient videos.
Uscenes retired its Windows screen saver range in July 2026. These legacy products are no longer part of our primary product range, which now focuses on licensed ambient video for commercial displays.
We plan to make the legacy Windows screen saver collection available as a downloadable package for a limited time later in 2026. If you would like to be notified when it becomes available, you can contact us to request particular screensavers for inclusion.
Above are a few of our original 1080p HD Windows screen savers. Uscenes started on 14th July 2013. But co-founder Rashad Al-Safer had already started selling fireplace videos in 2010. He went on to start Uscenes with Matthew Mayer and also filmed his acclaimed film The Jigsaw in 2013.

What changed to stop the Screensavers?
Sales were down and we had already stopped selling Apple Mac screensavers many years earlier. This was due to Mac OS updates for our huge library of apps which was 100 4K apps and 155 1080p apps: too many to keep updating.
Windows screen savers were very low priced and sales gradually faded. As evidence arose from various studies about the positive effects of ambient biophilic digital window content, we decided B2B is where our footage could have a meaningful benefit to society.
Buoyed by the discovery that many clients were not consumers, including non-profits, mental health organizations, sensory rooms and residential homes, we are now refining our positioning and content to fulfill our original goal of helping people by bringing a touch of nature indoors.
