Uscenes Screen Savers for Windows 10 and 11

Uscenes previously offered downloadable video screensavers for Windows 11 and 10. This ended July 2026. These legacy products are no longer part of our primary product range, which now focuses on licensed ambient video for commercial displays.

Above are a few of our original 1080p HD Windows screen savers. Uscenes started on 14th July 2013. But award winning co-founder Rashad Al-Safer has already started selling fireplace videos in 2010. He went on to start Uscenes with Matthew Mayer  and also filmed his acclaimed film the jigsaw in 2013.

What changed to stop the Screensavers?

Sales were down and we had already stopped selling Apple Screensavers many years earlier. This was due to Mac OS updates for our huge library of apps which was 100 4K apps and 155 1080p apps: too many to keep updating. 

Windows screensavers were very low priced and sales gradually faded. As evidence arose from various studies about the positive effects of ambient biophilic digital window content, we decided B2B is where our footage could have a meaningful benefit to society.

Buoyed by the discovery that many clients were not consumers, including non profits, mental health organizations, sensory rooms and residential homes, we are now refining our positioning and content to fullfill our original goal of helping people by bringing a touch of nature indoors.
